This is who we are....

My photo
Andy is an MK from Brasil. Gina is a hometown girl from SE Wisconsin. We met in Waukesha, fell in LOVE...well, that is the beginning of a long story, that won't fit into this spot. Since that day, we have been living and moving, and living, and moving, and yes moving some more! We have served 6 yrs in Brasil, and 4 yrs in Thailand. In both countries our main focus has been on the education and discipleship of high school students. Now we are working with college students. Our desire is to help them know the Lord better. We are serving at Ethnos Bible Institute in Waukesha, WI. Andy is the Dean of Education, and Gina is overseeing the campus library. We are privileged to be discipling the next generation of Christian leaders who will serve the Lord in foreign countries and in their local communities.

Soccer, Soccer, Soccer...is there more to life???

Our last months have revolved around the soccer field!  I can totally identify with those people out there called "SOCCER MOMS"  I can relate to the bumper sticker also.... "If I had one" and I can totally identify with the "SOCCER WIDOW".
It is amazing to me how much a sport can take control of our lives in it's season.  Andy and Nate have been busy with games, practice, games, practice and then more games, tournaments, and MORE PRACTICE!!!  Did I mention games, and practice?
Well, the tournaments this year have taken them to Bangkok, Chiang Mai and now the next one is Phuket...Although, this one is wonderfully located on the beach, so I really don't think there will be much suffering going on!  Andy and Nate will be leaving on Nov. 8th (nate's 18th b-day)...I am so excited for them, although a bit jealous because I would love to go and watch.  Now, normally, I do not spend to much time "boasting" about my boys...but Nate does play really well and I sure wish all my family could see him!  But, Since that is not going to happen, I will just share a few pictures with you....
The field was soooo muddy, but they played anyway!

October Newsletter

We have finally settled in from our 2 month visit to the States over the summer. October break from school is upon us and we will be having a large soccer tournament over that time. So, our break is looking so free for us...but I am sure the soccer games will be fun to watch. This is our latest newsletter and if you would like to receive to your very computer, please let me know and I will add you to our email list.

The making of a prayer card....

Over our spring break from school, we have done many, many things.  Among those things was a family photo to update our prayer card picture that is suppose to last us a few years....This is the joy of almost EVERY missionary family out there!  Let me tell you a little secret...it really is not a joy....it is more like torture!  We call it FORCED FAMILY FUN....
Getting your teenagers to pose for pictures is not easy!  At least when they are younger you can bribe them with candy or some small trinket from the local grocery store, but as they grow, so do their bribes!  Well, I guess our boys just lucked out, because not one got a bribe...but they did take the pictures and we got through with ease!
Here is a sample of what is to come....
