This is who we are....
- Templeton Family
- Andy is an MK from Brasil. Gina is a hometown girl from SE Wisconsin. We met in Waukesha, fell in LOVE...well, that is the beginning of a long story, that won't fit into this spot. Since that day, we have been living and moving, and living, and moving, and yes moving some more! We have served 6 yrs in Brasil, and 4 yrs in Thailand. In both countries our main focus has been on the education and discipleship of high school students. Now we are working with college students. Our desire is to help them know the Lord better. We are serving at Ethnos Bible Institute in Waukesha, WI. Andy is the Dean of Education, and Gina is overseeing the campus library. We are privileged to be discipling the next generation of Christian leaders who will serve the Lord in foreign countries and in their local communities.

Luke goes to the National Guard
Please keep our youngest son Luke in your prayers as he heads off to Oklahoma in only 8 short days to start Basic Training in the National Guard.
This has been something that he has talked about since he was little. Now it is becoming a reality.
Please pray that God will send someone into Luke's life to help in through this time.
As a mother I am proud of him, yet scared for him as well. I know that he is excited but it is hard to see the youngest head out the door and enter a world that we have no control over!
V-BALL tournament in Kansas
This coming weekend, Andy and Nate (our oldest son) will be traveling down to Witicha, Kansas to play in a v-ball tournament. Andy and Nate have been playing with a group of students from New Tribes, so they have formed a team and will head south for some fun!
This is a great way to continue our relationships with the students at the school over the summer months. Andy misses those times he was able to coach v-ball and soccer in Thailand and Brasil, so this is a wonderful use of those talents.
I will post some photos of the event when they get home!
New Tribes Mission...BECOMES...Ethnos360
As we celebrate 75 years
since NTM was founded, we're excited at what God has done and continues to do
in missions around the world. We're also excited to share that our mission has
a new name. We are now Ethnos360. Below is an explanation from our leadership
concerning the vision behind our new name.
Why have we changed our name to Ethnos360 from New Tribes Mission
USA? Because we’re positioning to reach a changing world.
Our founders had a vision for reaching the world: “By
unflinching determination we hazard our lives and gamble all for Christ until
we have reached the last tribe regardless of where that tribe might be.” (Brown
Gold magazine, Issue 1, May 1943)
That’s a far-reaching vision. A vision that represents God’s heart
for the world. A vision that’s worth our getting passionate about and working
together to make it a reality.
That vision hasn’t changed, but the world has. We face new
challenges, and we are learning to face them together — relying upon God to
unite His people to overcome them for His glory.
Ethnos360 is the name that
anchors us to our foundations and points us to our vision.
Ethnos is the “nations” that
Christ referred to when He commanded His followers to “make disciples of all
nations” (Matthew 28:19) and “...that repentance and remission of sins should
be preached in His name to all the nations…” (Luke 24:47).
360 represents the entirety
of the globe — all 360 degrees. Our goal is to go wherever in the world is
necessary to see a thriving church for every people, not only to focus on one
particular type of people group.
Our vision is the same today as it was 75 years ago. As we move
forward, we’ll draw from those lessons God has taught us in our 75 years of
ministry to pursue new opportunities opening to us. Opportunities to reach a
changing world.
Together let’s continue to embrace God’s vision of reaching the
whole world as we passionately pursue Him and His goals.
