This is who we are....

My photo
Andy is an MK from Brasil. Gina is a hometown girl from SE Wisconsin. We met in Waukesha, fell in LOVE...well, that is the beginning of a long story, that won't fit into this spot. Since that day, we have been living and moving, and living, and moving, and yes moving some more! We have served 6 yrs in Brasil, and 4 yrs in Thailand. In both countries our main focus has been on the education and discipleship of high school students. Now we are working with college students. Our desire is to help them know the Lord better. We are serving at Ethnos Bible Institute in Waukesha, WI. Andy is the Dean of Education, and Gina is overseeing the campus library. We are privileged to be discipling the next generation of Christian leaders who will serve the Lord in foreign countries and in their local communities.

Elephant Ride...

We have been having a wonderful time with a team of Believers from our home church in Wis.  This is a little clip of a laugh we shared together while we went to see the elephants.

Our prayer for Nate....

One reason mk's don't wear shoes....

We are at the dental office and believe it or not, we leave our shoes at the door!  And since our feet are bigger than most thai's  we don't fit into the flip flops provided so we just go bare foot!!  Gotta love different cultures!!!

It is the day after the graduation of my oldest son....the first born....the one with whom all my high hopes and expectations were set....he is 18 years old and is so very ready to head out into the great big world and start his own life...NOT MINE...I am so very happy and proud of him...I really need to remember though that he will make mistakes and I will still be here!!!  I WILL BE THAT MOTHER THAT WILL NOT STOP PRAYING...I love you so very much Nathan and I am so very proud of you!  You will never have to fear coming to us for anything once you got on your own.

Andy and I have always strived to look to the inside of our boys hearts, not just on the outside.  Any MK (missionary kid) can look good, follow all the rules, and even say the right things at the right time, always remembering that they are a picture of what their parents do on the mission field, but is that really the right thing?  To think of their parents reputation or pleasing them before thinking of pleasing God?  We will always continue to pray that God's will be done in the lives of our boys...NOT OURS...for God knows the plans HE has for them, NOT ME...I may think I know, but HIS ways are higher than mine....
God, Take my boys and make them yours!

LOVE YOUR MOM....
